After our talk about the Turkey Trot yesterday and the question of 3 miles versus 8 miles, I just had to know. So I ran 8 miles today in 1:14:12. So it is decided, definitely 3 miles on Thanksgiving. OMG! I am hurting! Don't know why I can't just keep my big mouth shut, Hahaha! Everything was just fine, but No! I have to keep pushing it. Just had to say it! You knew it was coming but no one wanted or needed to hear it: "8 miles, not too far for me!" I should be shot! Can somebody call a surgeon, I need my lips sewed together!

But this is where the blog is going to hurt me! Sure, rub it in that I'm not local and can't do the Turkey Trot with you! :-( This post did get me thinking, though, and I've been poking around for 5Ks in my area the Saturday before Thanksgiving. At least then I can say I did mine first!
Keith! 8 miles! Wow! Hmmm, 3 still sounds good for the Turkey Trot. You might have to drag me to the finish line from about mile TWO all the way to EIGHT! Do we have any little red wagons lined up?
